Systems of UPVC
Ann: Yeah, we'll have 5,000 gallons. What we're designing is a hybrid system and UPVC windows and UPVC Doors that will be utilizing the rain water, as well as when it gets too low, when we don't have enough then we will supplement with the well. It will really reduce our impact upon the well.
Janaia: You're going to be using the rain water for your domestic water source? Is that right?
Gord: Both UPVC windows and UPVC Doors and domestic and for irrigation.
Janaia: Gardening, your gardens. Okay.
Ann: As well as bathtub and low flow shower heads and things like that. To reduce our water consumption as well we won't be having flush toilets.
Janaia: Aha, that's a biggie. What do we get to do instead of flushing our toilet water? What do you do instead?
Ann: Well, we're going to be composting. We're using composting toilets. When you think about it, we're terrestrial mammals.
